Checked out the re-release of Donnie Darko this weekend. Lots of new scenes making it a much more coherent movie. They added some text shots from "Philosophy of Time Travel" to help us through the plot. Also the addition of more 80s music was most welcome. Most notably some Boingo! Very cool. They also added some visual effects, some of which were really not needed and seemed pretty unoriginal. What the fuck does a bunch of hexidecimal format shit scrolling down a screen have to do with Time Travel?
